Abstract

By its very nature the church is a caring community in which all those who are weary and burdened find rest (Matt 11:28). Paul‘s claim that in Christ there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, male and female (Gal 3:28), underscores the fact that the church is an alternative community where all people, including those with disability, have equal worth and value.
